He holds the Guinness World Record as the largest crocodile in captivity. Measuring an astounding 20 feet and 3 inches, the words of this colossal reptile blew the world.  He was named after Ernesto “Lolong” Conate, who died from a stroke while helping plan his capture. Lolong was placed in Bunawan Eco-Park in the Philippines. In addition, he weighed a whopping 2,370 pounds. Lolong is without a doubt, one of the biggest beasts the world has ever seen alive.

Lolong 2.0 – The Successor

After the passing of Lolong, another massive crocodile was captured in the Philippines, often referred to as “Lolong 2.0” by locals. Although not surpassing Lolong’s record-breaking size, this crocodile highlighted the continued presence of large specimens in the country.

Davoli – The Survivor

Davoli, a saltwater crocodile, gained fame for surviving a dramatic encounter with fishermen in Palawan. The reptile was accidentally caught in a fishing net, leading to a collaborative effort between local authorities and wildlife experts to safely release Davoli back into its natural habitat.
