Filipino-themed integrated resort lands on Entertainment City

An ambitious development project is about to take off at the Entertainment City in Parañaque. Dubbed as “NayonLanding”, the new leisure and entertainment facility will feature unique Filipino-inspired architecture and interior designs.

The $1.5-billion development project is expected to bring in approximately 10,000 job opportunities, additional revenues to national and local economies, and millions of international travelers to the country in the next four years, according to Landing International Chairman and Executive Director Dr. Yang Zhihui.

Landing Resorts Philippines Development Corp. (Landing Philippines) will oversee the entire “NayonLanding” project, the fifth and newest casino-resort facility in the Las Vegas-style gaming strip along Manila Bay.

The three integrated resorts currently operating in the district are Solaire Resort and Casino of Bloomberry, City of Dreams Manila of Melco, and Okada Manila of Universal Entertainment. Meanwhile, the fourth resort, “Westside City Resorts World”, is still being developed by Malaysian firm Genting in a 120-hectare reclaimed land area.

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez said that Landing International’s decision to build Entertainment City is another “vote of confidence” for the city.

“The decision of Landing International to locate here is another vote of confidence for our city and should help sustain our growth momentum in the years and decades to come as one of the most dynamic economic centers in the Philippines, if not the entire Southeast Asian region,” he said.

“NayonLanding” is being developed into a family-oriented facility that promises to be a must-see and must-experience destination for domestic and foreign visitors of all ages.
