Citizens Displaced by Mamasapano Raid to Get Houses

At least 50 houses are now being constructed by the government for the benefit of families affected by the Mamasapano siege in 2015. The same raid was where 44 members of the Police Special Action Force (SAF) were killed.

The houses in Barangay Tukanalipao will be provided by the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), while the town center will be constructed under the Bangsamoro Regional Inclusive Development for Growth and Empowerment or ARMM-BRIDGE program.

Infrastructure projects amounting to over P300 million were already implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the citizens displaced in the clash.
