The Baguio Mansion House Opens Its Doors

Exciting news for history buffs and cultural enthusiasts alike! The iconic Baguio Mansion House officially opened its doors to the public on September 8, 2024. This historic residence, located in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, has long piqued the curiosity of locals and tourists. Now, for the first time, visitors can explore its interiors and learn more about its significance.

All roads lead to the Mansion

According to Palace Social Secretary Bianca Zobel, the site sees about 500 visitors daily. On weekends, that number can spike to around 2,000. The decision to open the Mansion aimed to give the public a deeper, more personal look into its significance as a symbol of the Philippine presidency.

Inside, visitors will find the newly established Presidential Museum. This museum, modeled after the Teus Mansion Museum in Manila, displays priceless presidential artifacts, documents, and memorabilia. It offers a detailed look into the lives and legacies of past Philippine presidents. The space provides a chance to connect with the nation’s political history and learn more about the leaders who shaped it.
