‘Jobs, Jobs, Jobs’ Portal Launched by DPWH for ‘Build, Build, Build’ Projects

A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN. To complement the “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure program of the government, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has launched a job-matching platform called “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs.”

The online jobs site will consolidate all employment opportunities from all concessionaires and construction companies involved in the “Build, Build, Build” project.

“The “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal will serve as a job-matching platform between potential employers and employees as the government moves to complement its “Build, Build, Build” infrastructure initiatives with more job opportunities for Filipinos,” said Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar.

According to Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade, the job portal is designed to reach Filipinos, both here and abroad, who want to join the government’s infrastructure push.

Bases Conversion and Development Authority president Vince Dizon also added that the online portal can “create more jobs for Filipinos, address the demand for workers to ensure fast and timely delivery of “Build, Build, Build” projects.”

He also mentioned that the job opportunities can encourage Overseas Filipino Workers to return home and remain in the country.

The “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal went live this afternoon offering over 11,000 opportunities to jobseekers. Different contractors and subcontractors involved in building big-ticket infrastructure projects under the “Build, Build, Build” program are offering the job opportunities.

“The biggest, boldest, and most ambitious infrastructure plan of the Philippine government is also helping us create more jobs for the Filipinos that is why we encourage everyone especially job seekers to utilize this new “Jobs, Jobs, Jobs” Portal and help us build vital infrastructure projects across the country,” Villar said.
