Free PCOS Screenings and OB-GYN Consultations in Mercury Drug this May

In honor of Mother’s Day this month of May, Mercury Drug is making it easier for Filipinas to stay on top of their reproductive health. A series offer free PCOS screenings and OB-GYN consultations will be happening at participating Metro Manila branches on select dates this May.

What is PCOS and Why Free PCOS Screenings Matters

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder that affects women of reproductive age and can lead to irregular menstruation, acne, weight changes, and fertility issues. Many cases go undiagnosed due to lack of awareness or access to healthcare.

This is why Free PCOS screenings programs are essential—they provide women with access to consultations and initial screening without financial burden, encouraging early detection and timely treatment.

How to get your free PCOS screenings at Mercury Drug

Mother’s Day is the theme for this program but good news, you don’t need to have kids to avail of this initiative. Mercury Drug is opening this service to every woman.  This ensures that everyone has access to professional OB-GYN advice this month.

Jus take note that these free PCOS screenings are happening in the afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., you can plan your lunch break or afternoon errands around these locations:

  • May 7 (Thursday): TriNoma Mall Level M1 in Quezon City and BGC 32nd Street in Taguig
  • May 8 (Friday): Market Market! in Taguig
  • May 14 (Thursday): One Ayala in Makati

These consultations don’t take much time and usually work on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s a good idea to arrive a little early. It’s also wise to make a note on your phone of important things such as the date of your last period and any specific symptoms you’ve experienced lately.
