Pizza and Fun: Inside Shakey’s 50th Anniversary Party

To kick off Shakey’s 50th anniversary in the Philippines, the pizza chain held a party in their Loyola Heights branch on March 10. The event consisted of games, activities, and surprises to commemorate their milestone. Let’s check it out!

Since 1975, Shakey’s has become the go-to place for Filipinos to celebrate all kinds of occasions while enjoying a delicious, hearty meal. From its first store in Makati to over 300 locations nationwide today, they have grown into an iconic brand, becoming a beloved part of Filipino dining culture and a leader in the country’s casual dining scene.

During the party, guests and customers were treated to an afternoon of exciting activities. If people weren’t playing games in the branch’s Game Zone, they posed at the photobooth spot. Later on, they flexed their skills during a dance challenge game, which led to the main slice: the pizza-making contest!

New Faces

To mark Shakey’s 50th anniversary, the company launched a plethora of exciting promotions to keep customers on their toes this year. 

First, they unveiled 3 new brand ambassadors: “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary V., Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, and actress/hip-hop dancer Gela Atayde. They will help carry Shakey’s legacy forward by embodying its values of great food, fun moments, and family-friendly dining experiences.

Shakey’s is making Mondays extra special with its “₱50 Pizza” promo, where guests can grab a Regular Thin Crust Manager’s Choice for just ₱50 on March 17 and 24, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at participating stores.

Meanwhile, Supercard holders also have the chance to win ₱50,000 in cash every day for 50 days—just spend ₱300 on dine-in, carryout, or delivery from March 25 to May 13, 2025, to earn raffle entries.

Lastly, “Shakey’s 1975 Anniversary Blowout” lets guests enjoy a feast for ₱1,975, complete with a Large Thin Crust Pizza, Chicken ‘N’ Mojos, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, a Pitcher of Softdrink, and a limited-edition Supercard Classic—all while saving up to ₱2,779.50!
