Mindanao, Luzon communities to start ‘Quest for Love’ projects

Eight communities from Luzon and Mindanao received grants from the nationwide search “The Quest for Love” on ABS-CBN’s “G Diaries” hosted by Gina Lopez, enabling the winners to jumpstart their own projects and help uplift the lives of their residents.

The winners were announced by Lopez during a press conference on July 19 at the television network’s Dolphy Theater.

There were 16 shortlisted organizations from a total of 128 applications, but six communities from Mindanao and two from Luzon were finally selected by a panel of judges chaired by former Asian Institute of Management dean Prof. Eduardo Morato.

Each of the finalists received P100,000 seed money as well as mentoring and support from ILOVE Foundation.
