Maple Grove: You’re Still in Cavite… But It Doesn’t Feel Like It
Cavite is always busy. If you’ve been around General Trias, you know how it is: traffic that builds up fast, roads that stay full, and people always on the move. It’s normal now. It’s just life here. But when you enter Maple Grove in GenTri, something changes.
You’re still in Cavite… but it doesn’t feel like it.
A township designed around green space first
Maple Grove is a 140-hectare masterplanned township in GenTri, but what makes it different is not just its size, it’s how much of it is intentionally left open and green.
Nearly 40% of the development is dedicated to open spaces, parks, and greenery.
That’s not an afterthought. It’s part of the design.
Instead of building everything tightly together, the layout gives space for trees, walking areas, and landscaped zones where people can slow down and stay longer outdoors.
Why Maple Grove has so much green space
The open spaces in Maple Grove serve real planning functions.
First is flood and rainwater management. Parts of the township are designed to help absorb and slow down rainwater runoff, supporting drainage in a fast-growing area like Cavite.
Second is heat reduction. As surrounding developments increase, open green areas help cool the environment and improve airflow.

Third is walkability. Trees, shaded paths, and landscaped walkways make it easier to move around on foot or by bike instead of relying heavily on vehicles for short trips inside the township.
Finally, as a mixed-use township, green spaces help balance residential, commercial, and business zones so the area does not feel too dense or overwhelming.
Green areas act as buffers between these spaces, helping the township feel more balanced and less dense.
It’s an active lifestyle township, not just green space
What makes Maple Grove different is that it is not only designed for quiet living. It is also being activated with real experiences and events inside the township.
Recent activities show how the space is already being used in different ways.

One of these is Drive the Future, an event that featured electric and hybrid vehicles. Visitors were able to explore new mobility technologies and experience hands-on test drives, bringing a future-forward theme into the township.
For more active recreation, EZ Drift Maple Grove has also opened, offering a controlled driving experience designed for fun outings with family and friends.

The township has also hosted family-focused outdoor programs like Little Campers’ Day Out, which combined creativity, nature, and outdoor activities for kids. The event included partners such as Forest School Philippines and Skywatchers Society of Las Piñas.
These events show a clear direction: Maple Grove is becoming a place where people don’t just live nearby, they come in to experience activities, spend time outdoors, and participate in community-driven programs.A
A different kind of escape in Cavite
Escape usually means leaving: leaving traffic, leaving noise, and leaving routine.
But inside Maple Grove, escape feels closer to staying. Not leaving Cavite but stepping out of its usual pace.
The combination of green spaces and growing lifestyle events creates a different rhythm compared to the surrounding area.
Still in Cavite, but easier to breathe in
Maple Grove doesn’t try to feel like a resort. Instead, it creates something simpler, more green space, more openness, and more room to slow down.
So even if you haven’t left Cavite… it can still feel like you’ve stepped into a quieter place for a while.
And sometimes, that’s enough.
