Ready for an even quicker fast food experience? Megaworld is building a Mcdonald’s NXTGen store in NegOcc!
Just when you thought fast-food restaurants could not get any more convenient, McDonald’s NXTGen stores are now popping up all over the country. A new branch is in the works at Megaworld’s 53-hectare Northill Gateway township in Bacolod City.
What’s so special about “NXTGen” stores?
NXTGen is a new store format that pioneers an innovative approach to fast-food dining. Furnished with a multi-point service system, this unique McDonald’s brings a faster, more comfortable experience.
On top of a more stylish and contemporary industrial design, customers can enjoy placing orders with Drive-Thru Services, Hand-held Order Taking System, and Self-Ordering Kiosks for cashless payments.
The high-tech self-ordering kiosk was first introduced in McDonald’s NXTGen flagship store in McKinley West, Taguig City in 2018. Self-ordering kiosks allow the customers to place orders without lining up and speaking to a cashier.

Mcdonald’s NXTGen Bacolod will also feature a green wall, a cozy McCafe, and an al fresco dining area. The open-air dining will be the largest in the country for the fastfood chain!
Bike-friendly burgers
You will also be able to pedal to your palate’s content with their Bike and Dine Area! Mcdonald’s NXTGen aims to be a bike-friendly restaurant with outdoor dining.
McDonald’s has acknowledged the significant increase in the number of cyclists during the pandemic due to a lack of transportation options. The Bike and Dine Area will feature custom-made bike rack tables.
According to Jennifer Palmares-Fong, Vice President for Sales and Marketing of Megaworld Visayas, this first McDonald’s NXTGen in the province is scheduled to open just in time for Christmas!
The new store is just in front of the Forbes Hill residential village and only a few steps away from its main gate. Residential lots in the village range from 449 square meters to 831 square meters. At present, 80 percent of the village lots have already been occupied.
