Yet he never gave up; he embraced creative solutions and built a strong study routine.
Triumph in Academics
In June 2025, Clarence Nayve earned his Bachelor of Arts in Literature with magna cum laude honors. He credits his success to his family, his teachers, and the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) support since grade 5. He also thanked Bicol University’s free tuition for helping him continue amid financial hardship. His speech reminds everyone: “Don’t say ‘he’s great even though he’s blind’. Say ‘he’s great’. Period.”
Advocacy and Purpose
Now that Clarence Nayve has reached this milestone, he wants to use his voice to advocate for persons with disabilities (PWDs). He hopes to see a society where PWD excellence isn’t described as “despite the disability” but just “excellence”.
