“BT21 Journey to the Philippines” Pop-Up Lands in SM Megamall
Attention, ARMY! Attention, UNIVERSTARS! The “BT21 Journey to the Philippines” pop-up has officially landed in SM Megamall, bringing with it a world of cuteness, self-expression, and friendship. Come, let’s check it out!
Who is BT21?
BT21 is a group of characters created by pop supergroup BTS in collaboration with LINE FRIENDS back in 2017. Known individually as KOYA, RJ, SHOOKY, MANG, CHIMMY, TATA, COOKY, and VAN, each character represents a unique personality conceptualized by the members themselves.
Eight years later, BT21 has grown into a beloved brand, capturing the hearts of fans from all over the world. And now, they’ve arrived in Mandaluyong for their first interactive pop-up in the country!
What’s inside?
“BT21 Journey to the Philippines” is stationed right at the ground floor of the Mega Fashion Hall. When you enter, you’re immediately greeted by Pinoy-themed photo spots and merchandise stands.
And speaking of merchandise, you can purchase BT21-themed items from various SM-brand retailers, such as Toy Kingdom and MINISO. We spotted an array of plushies, clothing, and accessories that every fan can enjoy!

Diving Deeper
Besides the displays and merch, the pop-up also carries 3 immersive activities. To enjoy them fully, you’ll need to log in or register in the SM Malls Online app. Simply type “BT21,” select the activity (or activities) you want to participate in, and show the code to the staff.
We went through the “Dream Work Tunnel,” where you can write down heartfelt messages for BT21 and/or BTS.
Meanwhile, you can seal your bond with the characters and your loved ones in the “Boundless Friendship Locks” area. Lastly, “The Young and the Undiscovered Stage” celebrates local talent, inspired by the group’s youthful spirit.
The Fun Continues
After Mandaluyong, the pop-up will tour SM Malls in South Luzon. Stops include SM Bacoor, SM Santo Tomas, SM Santa Rosa, SM Dasmariñas, and SM City Tanza.
“BT21 Journey to the Philippines” is located at the GF, Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall. The pop-up runs until July 3.
